By: Carlie Fuller My piece is all about my childhood, the background represents Apex Park. I used a canvas material which I painted on with acrylic paint. I used very thick strokes for the background and thin strokes for the main part of the painting. When I was the little girl my family and I would go to Apex park and ride my scooter or walk. The sunflowers represent my favorite flower and it has been since I was little. The sky is sunset because that's all I would draw when I was little. I loved doing this piece because I liked referencing back to my childhood and feeling happy again is nice.

Wayne Thiebaud is known for his colorful works that are fun and uplifting. Such as pies, cakes, cans, lipsticks, ice cream, and hot dogs. He sometimes does landscapes with pop art movement throughout all his pieces. 2) I choose this artist because my piece is about missing your childhood and all the pieces he does are magical and old fashion. His pieces give me pleaser to the eye. 3) I want to use ayrilic paint for this and maybe baking clay also. 4) I really want tent piece to be large so it stands out and is magical to the eye. 5/5/2018 0 Comments May 05th, 2018Carlie Fuller
The Truth about Standardized Testing This piece is truth to power describing how testing is the worst way to learn and all it does, is stress teachers and students throughout teaching or being educated. For this piece I used acrylic paint and sharpie. I made the painting simple because the government thinks it is so simple to but arch student in ground of the same test even though every one has a interpretation of everything in life!!! Testing should not define what our GPA looks like, If our GPA is good then that’s all that should matter. I work way to hard during the school to have an giant test at the end of the year that is 20% of my grade on one day. What if I’m sick that day? What if the student had a ruff morning? Maybe everyone has a different answer with a detailed explanation, I would love to tell the government. I loved making this piece because I DO NOT support standardized testing in any way shape or form. Something need to change |
